Reflection

You smile when you are weak
You laugh when you are broken
You hate when you truly love
You mess when you care

It's not the end
You say
Neither begining
You say
It's just a matter of time
You say

Show yourself a mirror
Look all the scars they gave you
You still care about them?

Forgot? They were the ones who left you numb in your dark soul
Forgot? They were the ones who extinguished the light from your candle

Forgot? They were the ones who broke your heart into indivisible parts
Forgot? Their words gave you sleepless nights

Forgot? How they used you when they needed help
And threw you away like a trash when you needed help

Behave like a grown up
You say
Improve your social image
You say
Love yourself
You say

But did you ever follow your own sayings?
Did you ever really love yourself?
Did you never hate yourself when they laughed at you?

Jump up from this net of lies
Wipe your tears and ask yourself again
Did you?
