The day we met

The day I met you I had this feeling
I felt like every step I took I could reach the ceiling
The day I met you I felt my heart begin to beat fast
That's when you kissed me and in my heart I just knew we would last
Even though we fell pretty fast
The taste of your lips on mine is all I think about every second of every day,
When I see you sad I feel my mind start to fade because everyone I have ever known has only ever been a shade
Your heart beats fast and I swear some moments that not only are our hearts beating together but I feel like our hearts are speaking to one another
I need your arms around my shoulders because when I feel your chest against mine I feel like you have lifted the boulder..... I wrote this to show you how much I love you and need you
