With The Wings of an Angel

With the wings of an angel she takes flight
Soaring and dipping and dancing in the bright light
She laughs with great joy and  careless glee
She looks at her body which is finally free
She hovers near her family and uses the wind to ruffle their hair
She lets them know she is watching and always there..

She catches a breeze within the palm of her hand
She whispers blessings  into it and lets it go
She watches as the breeze travels and picks up speed
She guides it toward her family in need

She promises a kiss for them within each raindrop
She pours out her love when the rain won't stop
She guides them with her heavenly glow
She sings to them when they feel sad and low

She talks to them within the song of a bird
She sings softly but with feeling to be heard
She holds a place for them deep in her heart
She will be there to guide them when they depart..

So believe me when I say...

She is one of God's special angels and was meant to be that way...
