Am I?

I can’t wait no longer wondering if I’d ever be enough for you
I’ve dealt with so much heartaches and pain but it means nothing to you
Why break my heart? For you to understand what I mean?
Is it true? That you’ve been pondering if the grass is more green?
If I let you break me down again will you finally see?
Or would you see my pain as a form of normalcy?
If I accept all your blame would you believe?
That I am enough? And stop all the narcissistic tendencies?
Loving the relationship while I forgot to love myself
Fighting to stay together not understanding the only thing at stake is my health
I’d rather adjust to your absence than be frustrated by your presence
I have to regain control of myself and pray for strength and guidance
15 years spent with you now I have to lay my emotions to bed and see
That I AM ENOUGH THAT I CHOOSE ME.
