Be Sure
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Be sure...
It is with kept faith,
Unshakened.
Is the reason you refuse,
To take steps made to stay...
On a path unchanged.
Done to remain that way.
Be sure...
It is within your heart.
And not thoughts inside your head.
Easily manipulated.
By words heard from someone said.
Be sure...
Your commitment,
To endure facing obstacles.
And whatever challenges that come.
You are prepared to be tested.
You remain not to run.
Be sure...
It is with faith known not to fake it.
Or doubt to say to yourself,
You can not do...
What it is you feel felt real enough.
To continue moving forward.
Regardless what others may choose to do.
Just be sure,
That what you do done...
Is in no need,
For anyone else...
To approve of it but God.
And...
Leave it to God,
To prove your moves taken to prove...
It is with faith.
And nothing else,
Preventing you from reaching...
A dream to wish and want come true.
But others to waste time.
With a listening to choose,
What it is they would do.
Only to discourage you and your kept faith.
Not to make those steps to take themselves!
Listen to learn,
Where they are coming from.
To be sure you know,
Where it is you are going.
Kept faith not to fake it is the key.
Not to open all doors.
But a few to unlock successfully!
Know this to notice it and keep stepping.
Keep on moving ahead faithfully!
To be sure...
It is your heart, mind and time,
That is yours and no one else to waste.
