Bruised Dreamer

i am transfixed by the idea of finding peace at the end of the tunnel

i found a kindred spirit with the darkness that blankets it

the bleak claws of the cold gnawing at my skin and drawing out dull crimson blood

i am a carrion

painted with bruises

pink blue purple and yellow

this tunnel feels incongruous

why am i here again?

it is clusive but i do not stop i walk and walk and walk in the interminable tunnel

i do not see an end

but neither is there a start in sight

- an endless search for my dreams
