What is love?

Toni Jo dulaney 1989 (Akron ohio)

If you die there would be nothing left nothing is what I'd be,
Suicide 6 feet under is where they'd find me.
Im so so sorry things are fucked up,
And I'm so fucking sorry I didn't love you enough.
I wanted to but I was never taught how,
So I ran everytime shit got rough that's what they teaching us kids now.
But see I always ran from the ones that loved me the most,
They begged and they pleaded but see I just needed my dose.
I shattered their hearts stomped them on the ground,
And I didn't care I needed no one around.
Until finally the day came where I wanted true love,
But I was so scared cuz the only love I've known was to push or to shove.
Mommy was always faded and daddy ran to the bar from her,
So when I got older I loved just like them I was mean to the core I was doing it right I was so sure.
So if you'd just open up instead of holding it all in,
You'll find were more alike then you think and then true love could begin....
