The Times They Were Small

The Times they were little, The times they would crawl
God, I Miss them all
The times they would fall, the times they wouldn’t talk at all
God, I miss them all
The times they would fight, the times they risked it all
God, I miss them all
The times I spent in the hospital with them, the times I watched them sleep
God, I miss them all
The times he only pointed and wouldn’t say a word
Dear God, I miss them all
The times over and over Good and bad Joyful and sad Lord God, I miss them all
When they were small them were by my side looking to with trust in their eyes, now they are grown, now it is so real, now they don’t need me much at all.
Dear God, I miss them all

About this poem

I was talking to my son and it reminded me of how they would never leave my side and cry each time i would leave. How i miss them days. They went by way to fast.
