Frost

Behind the
yet warm gaze
a storm
is hiding

raging blizzard
frozen thoughts
which the soul
makes to tremble
and withdraw
within itself

winter settles

present gets transformed
to iron
and in it's white contrasting
darkness turns more dire

the bussell has stopped

just
a strange silence
sounds dumpen

helpless witness
to the mourning
of the
once cheerful
cantor
