THE MORE SILIENT I AM.THE MORE DANGEROUS I BECOME
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
I am starting to learn to move in silence once again, my words have become weapons of my forever choice, I do not need my hands but my treasured mind to inflict the games of the non-violent verbal uprising to elevate our hearts and soul.
There are those few who foolishly mistake my kindness for weakness, without knowing the strength of a well-trained mind, the joke is on those poor bastards, do they not know that they have awoken a lion as they so quietly sleep as the lonely sheep
I will become the king of their almighty jungle, those who chose to lead must also know when to follow, for some, it is one big horse pill to swallow. so with their paper titles as a badge of honor, they insist on treating others as if they were beneath them. yet they will find it a great surprise that I am like the rising sun my chains are slowly becoming undone
No longer do I choose to be ignored or to be the master working slave, I refuse to be that little replaceable toy solider. I do not want to behave, so hear my voice, my damn ear deafening roar as I kick that pompous ass of yours out the door that never stays open
I need to keep moving because they think I will continue to be their pushover and stand quietly in my corner as the hierarchy refuses to give me an opportunity so I made one inside of the darkness of my moon the light of their sun
There is no one or any physical objects that can not interrupt this path that I find myself on. I decided to take it after many setbacks, and many heartbreaks. I am going to spread my wings and fly after reaching that dark green mountaintop. they said that I would not last because of my past
Hell, do they not know me by now after all these years? tell me that I am incapable of doing something I will do it twice while giving them step-by-step instructions
The skies were the limit no longer do I need to reach for them like I said I did not need any red bull to get my wings,I earned them so I flew to star-lit skies and put all that I could carry inside a tightly tied bag now they lay inside of a clinched fist
When no one believed I chose to no longer follow but lead the more silent I was and used my mind instead of acting out of anger the more dangerous I became. I lit that bitch on fire never looking back
I am no longer going that way no matter what they care to say all I need to remember is which bridges I care to burn. the time has come that time is now exit stage left stick my middle finger up, tip my hat take my final bow
