Fair maiden

Hassan David 1995 (Bwari)

Life becomes worthy of living and free from strife.
My fair maiden puts a smile on my face,
A smile nothing can erase.
When i cover my face in shame and disgrace,
She comforts me and wraps me in her embrace.
She imbues me with strength and focus for the race.

2. My fair maiden,  the words you speak takes away my burden,
At the end of each day when I am heavy laden,
I seek to see your face and hear your voice so my burden can lessen.
For I am certain that that you will always be my safe haven.
