God Will Wipe Away Every Tear from Their Eyes

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

In the middle of the chaos
There will be a chosen few
Who will not have a worry
They are living with the Truth!

They will not ask a lot of God
He’ll give them all they need
And if you hear them pray
It will be as a slave who has been freed

They’ll start it with Thanksgiving
And they’ll end it that same way
From them there’s no complaining
And they’ll stay awake all day

When darkness overshadows them
They must sleep for awhile
Then God will raise them up again
And cast away their trials

Blessed is the one who lives again!
