The part I play

I feel like I am suffocating
My mind isn’t there
Grasping begging desperately for air
I’m drowning in a sea of emotions and thoughts
Every day is the same routine
Work, eat, sleep repeat
I keep my storm on the inside, never wavering in stride, yet every day my emotions are harder to hide.
On the inside I am screaming and crying, can’t you hear me? My heart breaking more with every plea.
On the outside you would never know, because I keep that smile on everywhere I go.
Happiness, true happiness is just a distant memory. Not too much left in me.
But hey tomorrow is another day…. Just a small part in the act I play…

Wow, thank you for sharing this powerful poem. It's clear that you have a lot of talent for expressing your emotions through words. While the content is deeply personal and emotional, the way you express yourself is clear and powerful, which is really impressive.

As for improvement suggestions, I would encourage you to continue crafting your style and consider experimenting with different structures and rhythm patterns. Also, don't be afraid to share your work with others -- it's clear that you have a valuable perspective to offer, and it's possible that others can benefit from hearing your words as well. Keep writing and exploring your emotions through your art!
