There's A Way For The World

There's A Way For The World
Author: Mark V. Markov

Through Jesus Christ
There's a way for the world
A little time
Through Christ
To build up our lives

A little time
As we live this life
To make up our minds
There's a way
To do right

Higher to set the limits and bounds
Be filled with the Holy Fire
With a living faith
To follow God

Be led by the Holy Spirit
And never be spiritually dead.

Through Jesus Christ
There's a way for the world
A little time
Through Christ
To build up our lives

A little time
As we live this life
To make up our minds
There's a way
To do right

To trust Elohim the Holy Trinity our Creator
To trust Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior
God's Only Begotten Son.
With all soul and mind
With all of the heart...

Genesis 2:1-3 (ESV)

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished,
and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done,
and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.

3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy,
because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

Exodus 20 (ESV)

The Ten Commandments

1 And God spoke all these words, saying,

2 "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of slavery.

3 "You shall have no other gods before me.

4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image,
or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them,
for I the Lord your God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third
and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain,
for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

8 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work,

10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.
On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter,
your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock,
or the sojourner who is within your gates.

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day.
Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 "Honor your father and your mother,
that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

13 "You shall not murder.

14 "You shall not commit adultery.

15 "You shall not steal.

16 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife,
or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey,
or anything that is your neighbor's."

18 Now when all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning
and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking,
the people were afraid and trembled,
and they stood far off

19 and said to Moses, "You speak to us, and we will listen;
but do not let God speak to us, lest we die."

20 Moses said to the people, "Do not fear,
for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you,
that you may not sin."

21 The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.

Luke 10:27 (ESV)

And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."

Matthew 22:36-39 (ESV)

36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"

37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.

38 This is the great and first commandment.

39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."

James 2:17 (ESV)

17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

To Love God (With All Of Your Heart)
Author: Mark V. Markov

To love God with all of your heart
With all heart and mind
Is to put an effort
To one's best ability
In keeping His commandments.

That is how we can honor, respect,
And love our Creator
Our God, our Maker

With deed,
With action,
And with words

Apostle John writes
Let us love
In truth and in deed
Apostle James writes
Faith without works
Is useless

To love God with all of your heart
With all heart and mind
Is to put an effort
To one's best ability
In keeping His commandments.

That is how we can honor, respect,
And love our Creator
Our God, our Maker

With deed,
With action,
And with words...

James 2:20 (ESV)
20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?

1 John 3:18 (ESV)
Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Luke 10:25-37 (ESV)
25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying,
"Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

26 He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How do you read it?"

27 And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."

28 And he said to him, "You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live."

29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

30 Jesus replied, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho,
and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side.

32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion.

34 He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine.
Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

35 And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper,
saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’

36 Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?"

37 He said, "The one who showed him mercy." And Jesus said to him, "You go, and do likewise."
