The bonds of this world hold me tight
When all I want to do is soar

High up into the sky
Into the sweet embrace
So pure and dark and peaceful

I can see it
Staring down at me

The endless night
The final end
Oh how I want to go

But you will not let me go
You keep me bound to you

So I must wait
Forever waiting
For my sweet release
