Fragments and Fictions
All I have left are fragments,
Just some old bones trapped in a shell.
What a man I could be.
If I just believed in me.
All round me people are hurting.
I can see it in there fractile eyes.
They just traverse thoughts bound
By fiction through other people's eyes.
We know now that everything has a consequence. And that's something we shouldn't have to feel.
So the only thing left to do is to let it go.
I can't wait for the colors to turn.
I can't wait till the ocean has had enough.
Or when the moon will turn it's back to us.
I can't wait for the earth to settle.
For she will leave me to rust.
I see now in my waking days. That this is now a cycle I hold close to me.
It's all I've known for such a long time.
How do I escape it all, after 7 whole years wasted on the both of us.
A shoulder to lean on is better then a rope.
No need to hang your head.
When there so much left in hope.
Feelings are like quicksand, sinking lower till there's no air in sight.
Every story told was a fable you created.
To curate your sense of accomplishment.
But where is mine?
About this poem
its about what it feels to have everything taken from you. and how to grow from how that pain changed you.
