Lie Protectors

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Lie protectors.
Protecting lies to tell them,
And effective.
Although told everywhere to be detected.
Today the truth has been against the law.

Lie protectors.
Defend the deceivers and evil ways.
Regardless who they dupe to then betray.
The many loyal thrown under a bus.
To disbelieve their trust to give is crushed.
But...
Lie protectors feel it is their must.
To keep protected those who lie so much.

Money and status grabbers could care less.
About the laws.
Or justice.
Money and status grabbers do their best,
To keep their positions given.
No matter who rejects.
The decisions made that has adverse affects.

Lie protectors are appointed to break rules.
Even if truth to prove has made them,
To be fools.
Yet fools are paid,
To do what they're told to do.
Even if this should mean...
Money that they are paid,
Destroys themselves too !

Money these days can empty thinking minds.
Anytime.
To leave common sense behind.
Money these days can completely blind.
Anytime.
Yet...
Too late to find those protecting evil,
Do this to expect it done!
Anytime.
And from...
In the positions they've been picked to sit.
Anytime.
And from...
In positions they sit!

Snap out of it.
There should be no mystery about this.
