Dear beloved, if this rose was yours
Treat it special tonight
For tonight is special
We feast and merry to our dying love
This love we hid and killed
We dance to it tonight


I urge you to dance
Dance to this music
Of unsung melody from my heart
Let my voice send vibrations down
from your head to your tapering toes
Dance that we may awaken Mother Earth
To bear witness to our love fiesta
Dance to invite all ancestral spirits of love
To celebrate our dying love
Dance for our love liveth not tomorrow
For after tonight
