Warm Beginnings

The crunch of a crispy chip, or the chewy bite of a soft snack. The scent of the freshness in a green apple & the zesty smell of citrus in a bright orange. The smell of cozy dawns & the cheery warmth of the yellow leaves of autumn. Warm buttery bread at a cold winters night & the feel of a cotton fabric coat to keep you tight. The comfiness of the quilt at night and coziness of the feet snuggling into warm soles. A peck of lips on cheek to greet your day and the light hugs that make you feel okay. A smile, a laugh, and a word of kindness that help you get through the day. There's so much to be grateful for where you are standing my dear, perhaps little things like these may seem insignificant to what you're going thru, but beyond it all you'll find that these little things are the ones worth living for.
