Unknown friend

Pragya Shukla 2005 (Uttar Pradesh)

Hey charming person,
I was very lonely and alone,
up till to you I have known.
Its just been two days knowing you,
but it feels like for years to you I knew.
Thank you for great connecting feeling,
and knowing the best way of dealing.
"Hydrogen in the air,
Fluorine in your teeth,
I can find u everywhere
and even underneath."
Because I accept you as my friend,
my life is enriched in myriad of ways,
like a cool bridge on sweltering days.
I know you as a person, especially as a friend,
and just wish our friendship to never end.
Right now, this second, this minute, this day,
our brotherhood is here to stay.
Whenever I am in darkness needing some light,
stay by my side and make the things alright.
I wish our togetherness to be strong,
that it stays forever and long.
Not all rejections are ugly,
some allow you to flee,
Imagine you as my gravity,
the more to it you deny,
the more high is I fly.
For me you are a friend who belong to my heart,
going through ups and downs but nothing can tear us apart..
