The Freedom of Nation

The Freedom of nation

Through disputes and struggles for freedom,
Hecatomb of valiant populace seldom.
The feeling of nationalism that suffuse,
Anguish they carry for the rulers to defuse.
Finally won the hardest battle of liberation:
The pride of nation hosted high after tribulation.

Years of triumph finally attain with all obstacles,
Tricolor of honor stand high besides struggle.
The tears of joy seen in speculators that roared,
The hymns of nationality adored.
The nation once ruled by troops of traders,
Now regained it's identification of treasure.

Today we honour the day of self rule,
To pay tribute to insurgents; the stepping stool,
Of free India they seeked and conquered.
To pay respect to all altruism who inspired,
We stand and salute looking at the flag hosted high
Reminding of our country's pains fly.

It's the third jubilee of joyous years of life,
Prosperity and development seen it it's heights.
Raise a toast with dear ones for the day
We celebrate the achievements of deliverance at bay.
Pray for our nation's success in years ahead,
For generations to be fond of history unread.

Tiamongba Lemtur.
Happy Independence Day.
