Self-growth

Mel Joy 2005 (Frankfurt)

Mere silence is all it took
To put an end to her soul’s cries
Her heart, caterwauling in disharmony
Has been waiting for the storm to abate

It has finally happened
Her heart no longer goes to war
As its deed has been narrowed down to one
- To fulfill its role as a diligent pump
In burning quest of keeping her body alive

With the power of her revived heart
And the courage of her liberated soul
The mountains she once feared
Are finally beginning to move
