Self made prison

I sit here and cry
Behind these walls
Wishing someone
Would just hear
These cries for help
Day after day
I pray it would end
Yet no one stops
Not does it end
This pain inside
Is too much to bear
As the blood
Flows from my wrists
All I need
Is someone to say
It's alright
I'll be here
If someone hears
These cries for help
Please knock down
These walls of mine
And save me from
this self Made Prison
Before it is
Much too late

About this poem

I wrote this poem while I was in prison after everyone left me. So this is literally how I was feeling at the time and still struggle with feeling every now and then.
