Saudade

Saudade

I sighed and stretched, the canopy
There is something I can hear
May be the basket I carry
It's empty ,growling
Two days and a night passed
The sun is now peeping into my head
Hair wet behind my ears
A drop rushes past my jawline, settle in the neck

I only remember the smell from those chimney
Bread stir fried in butter, bitter sweet
Those mouth watering smells
They are all saudade for me
I can't bear it I can't see anymore
It's raining,
That taste a little salty, the rain

I went past my memory lane
They are all saudade for me
I gave a prod at your toes
Waiting for you to wake up
All those days under the banyan tree
I kept thinking...
There was a scintilla of doubt in me
Why did you leave all of a sudden?
Papa..
Can you hear me?
No! I know you are far apart
Staring on to the clouds I hoped..
You can see me.
When will we meet again in this sentience
Maybe ...
When I touch the cloud.
