sands of time

Blank verse
Once again I wish I could
Feel the bliss, touch the moon
Stretch my arms to the open sky
Let the air pure my soul
I yearn a lot for that soothing touch
The kindling light deep within
Life is not the same again
The moments, the cheer
The joy of belonging
That are lost in the sands of time!
