Rainbow

Keziah Faith A. Calambro 1990 (Pigcawaya, North Cotabaton)

Rainbow
Keziah Faith A. Calambro

I went to my room,
then, I locked its wide door.
I found nothing
But a bunch of blank but thick notebooks.

They were supposed to be full,
full of success stories.
I found nothing
But blank yet thick notebooks.

I stayed and scrutinized them,
and with an open and bloodshot eyes.
I withstood one of the pages
Of one of the blank but thick notebooks.

A rainbow, full of colors, full of beauty from Him,
yes, it was there, very silent but firm.
I have not realized, until I took a look,
A rainbow, strength from within.

It was written there, yes,
and even in the hard times,
I had and should let it out,
The rainbow in a bunch of blank but thick notebooks.

I stood and went out from my room,
and they beheld, the strength from within,
This beautiful rainbow from within,
This rainbow from Him.
