I pen myself into words that.....

Vaibhav Sharma 2001 (Gwalior)

In the wake of immense unrest within,
When all thoughts get accumulated at the brink,
And when internal chaos aggravates the peace outside,
I pen myself into the words that lead to the way out.

Through the silence of the mid night,
Along with that tik-tok of the clock that proves to be my only ignorant companion,
There creates a vent for all emotions to pass, through which,
I pen myself into the words that lead to all reveries.

When no deed satiate the wandering soul,
None is to invigorate the mind saturated with paranoia,
And still it's an imperative to keep going for giving up isn't acceptable,
There emerge a ray of hope like a rope for a  drowning man,
Which I hold on to and,
I pen myself into words that forge the true mettle.
