Her Perfect Freedom

Oh, precious land of dignity!
When all was like infinity,
We strived hardly to be fit,
So we had to defeat
The fear to raise our voices.
In our independence we rejoice.

Freedom at last.
Hail our heroes past.
When all was swarthy,
They were brave and steady
Like a fearless
To defend our progress.

At last, we are sovereign.
Forever we shall reign.
With dignity and pride,
We shall take our ride
And shine like a crystal
To celebrate our great fiesta.

Winning the fight for freedom,
Kudos to our kingdom.
What a united black race
With beautiful and courageous faces.
I am proud of Nigeria,
Surviving such criteria.
