EFFUSION OF A MAIDEN

Ajayi Bolanle 2005 (Kwara state)

EFFUSION OF A MAIDEN
Is it a crime to be a fille?
You subsist like an animal in zoo
Just because you were shielded
An inch you move come back you hear

All found in you is lost
Out you go to people
A mother,a comforter thought you
Impediment she kept being
An inch you move come back you hear

Squirming to progress
Seem like a recess
Virtually all you do
Is moving like an unhinged man on street
An inch you move come back you hear

A shadow of yourself you turned
Your life was shattered
Just because a maiden you were
Everywhere you go in yellow
An inch you move come back you hear

What's next thought you
Yes!End is the adjacent phase
But you couldn't just end
Your little ally bic would end
An inch you move come back you hear

A million phrase scrawled
Can't delineate your life
It appeared deteriorated beyond measure
An inch you move come back you hear

Your want they gratify
But was dissatisfy
Out you went,more to make
They made you worst
An inch you move come back you hear
