Belittled

They all say belittled
A hearth of gold she  trembles
Beneath the earth she quivers
Imagination of a beaver she sees
Belittled again and again
Attention she craves it
Thoughts of a god she hears
A light she sees ,she peeps
But back we are again belittled
She cries she prays she craves
She says it's over
It's time to do it
She feels ,she sees, she grieve
But no she says its time
She wakes to the morning sun smiling
A tide she sees but the reef she crosses
A path she follows, she fights the day
At night she fights for hope
But surely we see one thing
Greatness beyond great length
And she makes it to the next day smiling.
