A nation on her wheelchair

My  country is dieing ,
Lying down on a sick bed.
My country is dieicountryng ,
At the wicked hand of despotic head .

We're only left with legacy of weapon,
What a nation corruption?
Like yearly erosion,
Tearing out the nutrient of nation purity
Not even chastity, but impunity.

Take a look at North,
You will see a pang of draught
Caused by a ceaseless fire of Borno gun,
What of Jos? her children are borrowing fun.

Should we talk about South,
They're all casualties of of marginalized nation,
Bitten by sting of Herdsmen,
They have their tears from eyes to mouth.

What the Herders?
On apron of Leaders,
We voted during election
That's causing nation infection.

Now! the nation's future left unpredict
Hence, the leaders are borrowing on credit
Just to settle the professional bandict
They're indeed the puppet.

About this poem

This poem is a protest poem protesting against the ill and corruption that involves in Nigeria politics in 2022, precisely the leaders. Every phase of the country was on choas as a result of banditary attack, terrorist mehem, and Fulani's herdsmen atrocities on the life of the farmers.People in the helm of affairs shows lessafair attitude on the life of the commoners and victims just because of the influence they (Govt.) have with the culprits.
