Leaf-games 1

Gaurav Jogesh Mehra 1975 (Mumbai)

FALLEN LEAVES PLAY DEAD
BLANKETING THE COLD WALKWAY
FEARING HARSH FOOTSTEPS

About this poem

How beautiful is Nature and how beautiful the games played by its smallest participants. Even a seemingly dead leaf is a painter in the canvas of this universe. I am always intrigued by the patterns they make on trees or even on the ground.
