Elation of the lord
Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)
When I felt alone
Beyond all pursuasion
and known
You were home
When I felt sad
Beyond all equation
And bad
You were all I had
When I felt anger
Beyond all elation
And vengeous
You were my manger
When I felt cold
Beyond all measure
And untold
You made me bold
When I survived
Beyond all doubt
And felt alive
You helped me forget my strife.
