Anointed With Self-righteousness

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

It is becoming much too easy.
To try yet find a way,
Not to severely criticize...
The many in positions,
Pretentiously imitating the having of dignity.
And...
Convinced,
They have been anointed...
With a wholesome,
Untouchable self-righteousness.
Given platforms to spew,
Their version of reality.
From an isolated, guarded and gated,
Limited mindset.
Spoiled with a point of view.
To do to compare themselves to others.
Others clearly disadvantaged.
Historically disparaged and disenfranchised.
With a doing to justify,
Lives to live entitled...
To display their bigotry,
Division.
Ignorance, lawlessness and hypocrisies.
As if the doing of this has nothing to do,
With the quality of all life...
Once wished and wanted to be lived,
Without misdeeds doers...
Effectively,
Proving themselves these days to be...
In need of mental therapy!
From every color spectrum there is.
Like...
A living in an ever changing kaleidoscope.
Today?
That to have had is now this!
Tomorrow?
This to have had is now that!
Created to keep folks tricked to dupe.
And seeking ways to stay doped up!
On deception to depict fiction their reality!
A reality?
No one has yet to claim,
Normal enough to remain stable!
