The Pain I Felt
I feel my breath go cold, as I breathe out
a cloud of steam.
There's no way out of today, and the
heartbreak it'll bring!
You were my King. I was your queen.
There was no in between.
I could never of imagined my life without you
in it. I honestly whole heatedly couldn't
believe anything different. We seemed to
be the perfect fit. You walked me to my
workstation every single day. You always
held my hand and knew just what to say.
You pushed me to do better than I ever
thought I could. For you I did the same just
like you knew I would. I remember this day
vividly and the visions will never pass.
I don't know if one day I'll be able to put it
in the past. I cried my heart out tonight, I
never wanted to let you go. I didn't know
your demons would take you down that low.
Because of you I experienced a soul mate.
It couldn't of just been fate, look how long we
both did wait and its not up for debate.
I just didn't anticipate what all got served
up on my plate. I wish I could feel your energy
in mine, at least one more good time.
With them baby blues, that dimple and your
wink. Oh boy, I know what all the girls would
think. Your sense of humor wasn't for everyone.
But boy did we laugh and have some fun.
I wish we never had to come to a point where
it would end. 2 years ago today I lost my true
best friend. All my love and sympathy I now am choosing to send.
I love you Robert Sayre....
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!!!!
