SHIPWRECK
Trina Thomas 1974 (PA)
Shipwreck have you ever been shipwrecked? I lost my captain I lost my crew. for they have left me, raging water water coming but I continue to row. I row with no crew I see with no captain. For god why has everyone left me. God reply I am your new captain he is my new crew. He guides me through the raging waters. When the tides come in he blocks the high waters as the storms come in I keep rowing. Rain falling down on me keep rowing. Laughter and snears coming from the other ships as they see me by my self. I keep rowing. Arms are tired I feel weary, I keep rowing. The sun beating down on my face the heat is intense. I keep rowing. All to get a glimpse of this new life, but all I see is water all around me. for at night it is scary darkness is all around me. I just hear the water splashing all around me I cannot see. God says look above you are above and not beneath. The star's are shinning so bright that is your light. Everyone you thought left I sent them away. They had no place only I'll intenisions. Now you stand on your own you know how to stand by your self. I shall send like minded people whom been through the heat. The laughter and the snears builds your character and your confidence to stand tall and walk with grace. You rowed by yourself even when your arm's were tired that made you stronger. God says the heat from the sun and the pressure from the situation you know it takes heat and pressure to form diamonds they require high pressure from there environment. You didn't know I was the ship.
