Oh to see the dawn

Royston 1946 (Reading)

Oh to feel the power
of the risen Christ.
Love that conquers death
in glorious sacrifice.

Oh to see the new dawn
and the darkness turn to day.
That resurrection morn
as the stone was rolled away

Now Death no longer stings
for Christ lives, the Angels say.
The day of grace begins,
and Satan flees away.
