Acts Of Redaction

As the investigation begins to wind down.
From why specific classified information,
Found its way to be hidden,
Somewhere else...
On private club grounds.
Has been from this investigation released,
What the public has been seeking.
With a holding their breath for weeks.

'It is my honor to report our findings.
It was Humpty Dumpty who sat on that wall.'

'YES, YES. PLEASE REVEAL TO US MORE.'

'And...
And, it had been discovered,
It was Humpty alone who condoned this.
Knowing where he sat,
May one day cause his thin shell to crack.
And that day came when it happened.'

'WHAT?
WHAT THEN CAME,
WHEN THEN WHAT HAPPENED?'

'Come closer.
I want you here and the viewers to know this.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
Humpty Dumpty no longer sits on that wall.
And when all the king's horses,
And all the king's men...
Came to rescue Humpty?
Humpty had been...
The rest has been redacted!'

'Re-WHAT?'

'Consider it the opening episode,
Of a new TV series.
Trust me,
This one promises much higher ratings.
Than 'OOPS! THERE ARE TWO APPENDIX'.
And no surgeon around,
To take orders for omelets.'

'WHAT?'

'Stay tuned.
It's one of those multi-genre events.
One of a kind and definitely unique!
And it's not always the chief.
With the keys to the kitchen.
Preparing baked cakes.
Nor the candlestick maker.'

'None of this makes any sense.'

'It will.
Drama is the family business.
So says the one protective son!
It's early.
This investigation,
Has only just begun!'
