Divine Energy

An earthy, damp scent heavily weighed
By the wake of the morning
Sunrise bleeding lightly onto the coats
Of the sea
With the waves seductively subtle
with the grains of pebble sand

Smoke danced slowly, expanding its form
Into grotesque features
Escaping the crimson heat from the famous
"Wake & Bake"
That lays in the hands of a lady

Pebble sand hugged toes
Locs lay thick and free
She smiled and breathed in
Heaps of wonder and divine energy

Eye-to-eye with the world
Her head held high like the chest of a sunflower
She claimed her full glory

Mind spread into networks of infinite
Powerful
And mighty lengths of self-love
Self-appreciation
And a heart soaring with pride

The sun continued ascending
Its rays of light sunk into the lady
Bearing the gold of her skin
On its shoulders

She feels...
Ready.
For the untold ventures of her day
