10 years, a sad catastrophe

Aaron Geister 1985 (Virginia)

I'm not crazy but its driving me insane
My hearts not empty but you bring it pain
The calm in your eyes is like a hurricane
And there you go bringing cold rain
I'm missing the children we raised, this isn't a game
Your lightning strikes, I have nothing to gain
I was already shocked, I was already slain
You blew me out the water when you tarnished my name
You ripped me to pieces and said I was the one to blame
Maybe from your perspective I would feel the same
A one sided story you don't want to change
The truth hurts, it requires more to blame
A lie was told to your face, not by me, not by grace.
It was one you adore whom looks like your mom in the face
Indeed it was a child we raised, one which you always believed
So look deeper in his eyes as the soul doesn't lie,
A crooked vendetta, your own blood, a kid full of anger willing to deceive, willing to let us die
