Love of poems

I love writing poetry so the words all rhyme
It's like music to my ears it just takes a little time
It just comes naturally to me I must confess
Writing a verse is like taking my next breath

Taunted by adjectives and haunted by verbs
A visions of wisdom and a quotations that slurs
There are short verses and some are very long
Some people get it right and others get it wrong

Pick any theme you want I will devour it whole
Choose any topic I will make it tremble your soul
But to write a poem you most dig down very deep
And search inside yourself of thing you just can't keep

Somehow they fuse together in a wonderful way
Structure themselves in a wonderful epic display
Smiles with metaphors and much pain and regret
All of these things dance around in my head

A feather pen with ink and I'm ready to go
Capture a moment of life with a pen’s flow
Share your poetry your thoughts and your desires
Let them burn your soul and someday be admired
