"ARE WE NOT MIRRORS"

Look at him in the box
As he breathes his last.
Are you not seeing yourself?
Did he not pray for better days
To come and wipe away
The tears that caused him blurred sight. Did he not brush his teeth
And ask for bread to break his fast?
Did he not give out his labor In exchange for his needs and his family's?
Did he not stop by the inn
To get himself chilled?
Do you not drink from a similar Mug?
Are you still not seeing yourself?
Has he not a proposal for morrow?
Did kids and wife not cheer
To see him back in the house?
Yet, you do not see your image?
