Summertime Things

The smell of the rain,
Flowing through the air,
Lets me know that,
Summer storms are near.

Freshly cut grass,
It smells so sweet.
Makes me want to run,
Through the yard with bare feet!

The feel of the sun,
Shining down on my face,
Gives a warm feeling,
Like a warm embrace.

The clouds in the sky,
Are so fluffy and white.
They float right on by,
To our delight.

These are just a few,
Of summertime things.
They all make me happy,
And makes me want to sing!
