Breath Taking Is This Menace

No one wishes to want it to believe,
Someone picked to sit...
In the position of leadership.
Would be treasonous and betray,
A country and its citizens...
The way a leader would do to stay,
Feeding an ego to portray...
Narcissism that undermines,
An undoing of a truth.
To even blind the minds of their own allies.
Defenders.
Of this one of a kind menace.
And...
With a supporting,
To choose this to do.
Regardless of their reputations.
Credibility and integrity to lose.
Just to believe themselves too,
Above the law.
To assume they are immune,
From being exposed...
By a truth they refuse to face being used.
As tools to satisfy,
One who could care less...
About those who sacrifice,
Their lives to be martyrs.
For one who confesses,
Of being innocent and picked upon.
Without proof or evidence.
After evidence and the proof of it,
No one with a consciousness...
Can dispute the truth or it produced.
And still beloved continued to follow,
Is this breath taking menace...
Cherished as if an angel with wings!

'He is one of us.'

'As if that had to be announced.
To connect the destruction to someone else.'

'Like who?'

'Well...
Not to mix,
Religion with politics.
But...
What is being represented,
Has not descended...
From above,
To depict where Heaven is.'

'What are you saying, stop your joking.'

'These days?
Look up, down and all around.
Few are found to be laughing.'

'We love our escape artists.'

'LOL...
Now that?
That is hysterical!'
