It does not matter who you are to me

Dr. Pearl Rita 1983 (Dubai)

Now it doesnt matter who you are to me,
All relations at some point dissolve;
Either by death or by behaviour.

You can never un-do the damage,
But only you learn lessons at every stage;
Getting wiser by the hour.

Blood turns to water.
And water seldom to blood.
Words once spoken can never be un-said.

Strangers become freinds;
Freinds can lose touch which is okay.
But ,people given importance at some point turn away.

Never use your whole heart ,
Keep your mind active and alert always.
Betrayals come with sweet faces and knives at bay.

Forgiving is the hardest part.
Easier done when cut off.
Repeated interactions just create scars.

Life is a circle of lessons,
Lessons bring in strictness;
And thats why it doesnt matter who you are to me anymore.

About this poem

It is about people's indifference towards loyality & the poet's response and attitude towards this. And how in future the poet will react.
