Untitled

I've been living the life of a blank book,
You can't read it because it lacks having words.
Like a rainbow that doesn't have colors,
Or like trees that don't have any birds.

It's a beach without sand,
The night sky without stars.
Like the ocean without water,
The solar system missing Mars.

You're not here to hold me,
Or to make me feel whole.
You can't remember the scars,
That now make up my soul!

There's such a blank darkness,
When your light isn't here.
The idea of you never returning,
Has become my deepest fear!

Baby, I'm here crumbling without you!
Something I never thought I would say.
Until I realized there's nothing but darkness,
Without your light here to brighten my day!

I love you with everything I am,
Each breath healing more of my heart.
This is why my world is just nothing,
When you & I have tried being apart!
