  Yeah, this short poem is pretty powerful. It takes a very talented and creative mind to condense so much imagery in so little space. Reminds me of a short, four-lined poem written by a 17th century Cavalier poet named Robert Herrick:
  
  Here a pretty baby lies
  Sung asleep with lullabies:
  Pray be silent and not stir
  Th' easy earth that covers her. more »

  I chose this poem because without knowing the writer, I understood every word. I felt the words in my soul. A very short poem with a very powerful punch. As I was reading other poems, my mind kept wondering back to this one. That’s when I knew, this poet would get my one vote. more »
