The art of letting go

Fear of losing,
Art of letting go.
Lifetime battle,
To fight for if?
Or just let it go

Miles i have driven,
The days are gone.
Yet, torment is still not.
Unpawed road awaits,
The hardest one to walk.

If only wind could take it,
If the rain would wash it off,
The snowflakes could bury it,
And i can finally let it go.

There is a crumb of hope,
They say time will fade it.
Hopelessly now i stand,
Learning the art of letting go.
What is written for us,
Can never let us go.
What is meant to be,
Will always find its way home.
For a lifetime we can always hope.
