INDIAN DEMOCRACY ON THE EDGE OF DEATH

India once was called “sparrow of gold”.
Unity in diversity was the symbol of old.
Dilemmas and crisis were use to be solved.
People of the world now seem yet to be told.

In course of time, its pure lap has been changed.
People (minorities) are frustrated and scared.
Laws are being made in against of their interest.
 Voices are futile and waste.

Houses destructed, mosques demolished and churches vandalized,
Shops looted and markets disrupted.
Muslims are lynched and Christians are targeted.
Representatives’ voices are waste of breath and not heard.

Propagandas and hates seem to be fire in the forest.
Islam-phobia is at the peak and prophets are defamed.
Constitutions are crushed with foot.
Youths’ (minorities) Dreams are ruined in its thirst.

Peace, tranquility, unity and humanity seem to be flowed into the river.
The lessons we Indian had imbibed from life of forefathers are nothing for.
Ultimately, we have forgotten the very call of “Ahimsa” nation’s father carried for.
At last, the history itself never had imagined that it would be like these ever.
