Free verse
In a wink of an eye....

Granted with a gift called life
That passed in a wink of an eye...

Craved for this ,craved for that ...none could I do
Death rattles banged in a wink of an eye...

Adorned my body in Lots
Madly storing this earthly happiness
All to leave with a body unadorned and temporary joys away...
Everything faded in a wink of an eye...

All the ego melted
The fiercest turned softest
All in a wink of an eye...

With whimperings around
I was loaded on shoulders in a wink of an eye...

The way this world dumped me
The fires embraced me
Everyone left ,only ashes stayed
They too flew away in a wink of an eye...

About this poem

The poem expresses heart-touching feelings of a person who is no more.....the person simply tells the truth of life.
